Oh behold what lies before us in the next 48 hours. We are in the mist of a storm, what they call a Nor’easter.. A two part wallop of energy where there is snow and wind now and then more snow and larger gusts of wind later.
The thought that the northeast can’t move about as it pleases is crippling to most. People and towns and cities are social creatures with lots of to do on their list and plenty of work. How can mother nature do this to us?
With the month of January winding down we haven’t had a truly good winter storm since last year and as seasons come and go here in the mid-atlantic we often forget until confronted with old man winter.
The frustration at best is things slow down and we truly physically can’t get out but probably for just a few hours. There is struggle all aside in my town because of parking. No garages here, just shovel out yourself and believe in the honor system or not. This does not help anyone in the retirement sector where they are once again torn apart with the choice that maybe they should have become a snowbird. How about a snow owl? They stay in town and brave it out.
Onward to the moon and the owl. The wind and the snow.
Stay steady and this shall pass.
