Learning when to skip.

                                          Learning when to skip.

Have you ever skipped a class?
Or skipped on the side of ketchup or mustard or cole slaw?
It could be a job, school, or even dinner.
Disregarding a part of your day or a meal.
There are plenty of reasons to give.
Perhaps not feeling right or have gotten lost or lateness, forgetfulness, traffic.
That darn traffic.
Or are there times where you just make the choice not to just because it is a choice.
Does there always have to be an explanation?
One given semester , I skipped quite a few of my classes.
And my GPA was the lowest it had ever been.
I didn’t fail, I just failed to show up at times.
It wasn’t lateness or forgetfulness or traffic.
I could walk and move and get there but...
I could get so many more places given my time constraint of a few months.
I was a student abroad and if there was any excuse it was when in Rome.
And that I did.
Roam the streets of Rome.
The lessons were right there in the day to day.
And the history was in every skipping step I took.
No regrets.
